FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship the bonbons or they are available only for collection?
Yes, we are using Royal Mail First Class to ship the bonbons across the UK only. The price per shipping is £3.80.
How long does the delivery take?
Once despatched, the bonbons should arrive to you within 2 days. On busy times (Christmas) it may take 1-2 days longer.
What is the shelf life of your chocolates?
The bonbons should be consumed within 3-4 weeks after receiving them. The  Best before" date is written at the back of the box. Some bonbons have shelf life of 2 weeks due to the freshnes of the fruits used.
How should I store my chocolates?
Ideally, the chocolates bonbons and bars should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, moisture and strong odours.
It is not recommended to store your bonbons in the fridge as the fridge moisture will cause cacao bloom and the chocolate will lose their shine. The room temperature is the perfect temperature to enjoy the bonbons as they will melt in your mounth reveiling all the flavours.
Are your chocolates vegan?
Yes, our chocolates are 100% vegan.
Are your chocolates dairy free?
We are using dairy alternatives, such as soya-based cream, lentil-based cream, vegetable fats, vegetable oil and vegan chocolates. However, thhe cream we are mostly use (Emlea Plant) is produced in facilities that handle dairy products, and therefore there is a risk of cross-contamination in the Emlea factory.

If you have dairy allergy our bonbons may not be safe for consumption. We are more than happy to offer to make a special batch for you, using a soya-based cream instead. Please, let us know.
Are your chocolates gluten-free?
The majority of our bonbons and chocolates are gluten-free. However, some of the products may contain cookies and other gluten-containing ingredients, so please, reade the nutritional list provided under each product, as well as at the back of your chocolate bonbons and bars.
Can I return an order?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our small business we do not accept returns. This is mainly because once we leave the bonbons in the Post Office they should arrive to you as quickly as possible, in order to keep them out of the "danger zone". Waiting for return will keep the bonbons in the danger zone longer, and the longer they are in the danger zone the higher the risk of bacteria growth it is. We cannot risk to give these bonbons to our customers or friends.
