What is gianduja?
Gianduja is a mixture of roasted peanuts, caramel and chocolate that are grinded together until a smooth paste is form.How are our snickers bonbons made?
Our products are entirely handmade from scrach. We start with polishing the moulds, paiting the moulds with coloured cocoa butter, tempering the chocolate by the very old-school seeding method, filling the shells, and finally packaging the bonbons. All our fillings are made with fresh ingredients, so that we have control over exactly what is going inside. For these snickers bonbons, we make the caramel with a slighty sticky toffee texture by simmering the sugar and maple for longer. For the peanut gianduja, we are making a dry caramel that we then grind to powder, mix it with roasted peanuts and then add melted vegan, dairy-free mi*k chocolate................................................................
